Mueller Park Home

Located roughly halfway between Fairbanks and Anchorage, Denali National Park is bigger than the state of Massachusetts. Denali is an outdoorsman's paradise, with raw beauty, unspoiled wilderness and, in some cases, more than just a hint of danger.

Denali National Park in Alaska

It is possible to access Denali by air, rail or on foot, but most use the road that enters the park from the east. When traveling by tour bus or private vehicle, a road map won't be needed; only one road can be found in the interior of the park.

The road begins at the park entrance, and winds for around 90 miles to the turnaround point, at an outpost called Kantishna. It is possible to take a tour bus all the way to Kantishna, but private vehicles can travel no further than 15 miles into the park.
