The installation process is substantially different as this material has a very specific installation method that needs to be followed.

Manufactured Stone

Manufactured stone is actually concrete that is poured in a cast that has the profile of natural stone. The concrete cast is dyed to the desired color and the back of the cast has 3/8 inch to ½ inch groves cut into it so that the cast stone adheres to the wall. This product comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, but is thin and lightweight in order to be able to be placed on the wall like tile.
